Lal comes up with one of the finest performances of his career unlike his usual characters as a loving husband, who is terribly affected by the situation and barely knows how to handle it. Shanthi Krishna makes a terrific comeback playing a college lecturer whose life turn upside down, when she first knows about the illness. Nivin steals your heart with a lovely show. He is a lazy bum, who munches packets of chips and has no specific goals in life. Nivin Pauly, who incidentally is also the producer of the film, joins as one of the performers more than playing a hero. With delicious visuals and good music, this one is a joyous ride that also narrates some stark realities and unprecedented situations that happens in life and could shake you up all on a sudden. The story unfurls with a string of lighter moments, stitched together without losing the balance and performed brilliantly by the film’s cast. It’s a highly relatable story, which has been narrated with impressive maturity by debutant director Althaf Salim.
